After my BSBA studies with a concentration on Information Management Systems at Boston University, I returned to Switzerland and started my carreer as sales representative of computer systems. During my 16 years at Hewlett-Packard I had the opportunity to learn and understand how large corporations operate and get countless example of best practice processes.
With the liberalization of the telecom market in Switzerland, I got the opportunity to actively influence a new market environment as CEO of the largest competitor to the incumbent. The turbulent times before and after the dot com bubble allowed me to gain rich experiences, ranging from double digit growth to heavy restructurings. It was during that time, that I got a lot of experience in managing large SMEs and deal with repetitive changes of shareholder ownerships.
Since I started my own business, I focused even more on the digitization opportunities and their applications for SMEs. Through my operational interims mandates and several non-executive board mandates in industries that are strongly affected, I had the opportunity to extend my knowledge and experience as well as my personal network significantly.
